What makes our cottages so special and unique ?

Authentic 200 years houses

For your holidays in France, book our 3-4 stars self-catering holiday cottages.
The are fully equipped and offer enclosed gardens. We have recently restored them with love and with old building authentic materials. We love to upcycle furniture... we find in the antique shops.  It makes our cottages very special and unique !

  • La Ruelle des Jardins (sleep 5 people, 2 rooms) : hamacs and table football
  • La Ruelle du Roc (sleep 6 people, 2 rooms and extra bed) : Pleyel piano
  • Le Grand Roc (sleep 16 people) : troglodyte kitchen and living-room, very cosy dormitory

The 3 cottages can be booked separately or all together for exclusive use, which is ideal for large family gatherings or group stays.
All gîtes are located 2 km from Chenonceau Chateau and 8 km from Amboise and Leonardo Da Vinci's house.
They are ideally located to discover the Loire and Cher Valley.
The area is famous for cycling on the Loire Valley, wine tasting, visiting the Châteaux and canoeing under the arches of Chenonceau.

The gardens are closed

Here, you can relax with your pets, the gardens are enclosed.
You can easily walk around :
Directly from the gite, you can walk with your dog to the river Cher or walk to vineyards. 
And also, dogs are now mostly allowed in the chateaux' gardens.

Our actions to make your stay positive to the environment ?

Simple and tiny easy little things to help our environment :

  • waste sorting
  • composting with our chickens
  • eco equipments (Led lights, water saving, recent domestic appliances)
  • eating local, markets and local good shops
  • we lend you a bicycle to go to the nearest bakery !
  • using water from the well for outside uses like washing your pets or bikes
  • no chemicles in our gardens
